A Funeral Will Take Place Later This Week For The Trooper From Montgomery County Who Died
Trooper Branden T. Sisca, 29, of Trappe, Pa., will be laid to rest on April 2 following a public funeral at Perkiomen Valley High School.
MONTGOMERY COUNTY, PA — One of two Pennsylvania state troopers tragically killed in a vehicle crash on Interstate 95 in Philadelphia last week will be laid to rest later this week following a public funeral service in western Montgomery County.
A funeral has been scheduled for this coming Saturday beginning at noon at Perkiomen Valley High School, located at 509 Gravel Pike in Collegeville, for fallen state Trooper Branden T. Sisca, 29, of Trappe Borough in Montgomery County.
Sisca died in the line of duty on March 21 while he and fellow Trooper Martin F. Mack, III, 33, of Bucks County, were attempting to help a pedestrian who was walking along I-95 by the sports stadiums in the City of Philadelphia.

Sisca was a rookie trooper and also served as fire chief of the Trappe Fire Company No. 1 in Montgomery County.
Public viewings have been scheduled for this Friday from both 12 to 3 p.m. and 5 to 9 p.m. at the Boyd-Horrox Givnish Funeral Home at 200 West Germantown Pike in Norristown.
