Goschenhoppen Folk Festival Kicks Off, 4-H Fair Continues Today

A benefit production for youth with chronic diseases will also be held Friday.

The 47th Annual Goschenhoppen Folk Festival will begin today in Perkiomenville, considered a “non-commercial, family-oriented day in Goschenhoppen. It will feature old=-fashioned Pennsylvania Dutch foods, and volunteers will show the tools, trades, pastimes ad music of the periods.  For more information, click here.

The Montgomery County 4-H Fair will continue Friday in Skippack from 9:30 a.m. - 9 p.m. The day includes a cattle show, Montgomery County Parks Demo, Sheep Show, Daisy Jug band, Horseless Horse Show, and much more.  For the full schedule, click here.

At 7:30 p.m., Starts of Tomorrow Cabaret in Green will perform "Life's Obstacles Through the Seasons - A Musical"at the Green Lane Fire House. The show will benefit "fellow youth dealing with chronic diseases, i.e. cancer and epilepsy."
