• Trappe Today and Tomorrow is hosting the first-ever tree lighting at the Speaker’s House, Dec. 7, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Park at the shopping center and be safely escorted across Main Street. Singing, music, and cookies and refreshments the boy and girl scouts will be selling refreshments. Santa will also attend.

If you'd like an evening out with your significant other, or just want the kids out of the house to get some holiday tasks accomplished, bring the kids to Ursinus College's Hobson Hall on Dec. 9 from 5 to 9 p.m. UC's Community Service House will host a free babysitting night, with cookie decorating, crafts and more.
