The Area 4 Montgomery County Democratic Committee will invite guests to its 6th annual Wine and Cheese Tasting to allow residents to meet candidates of the party. Guests may RSVP to area4dems@gmail.com or by phone at 610-306-5649. Tickets are $70 per person, and donations will be accepted to support the volunteer-based committee.

• Schwenksville’s Halloween Parade is Thursday, Oct. 27 from 7 to 9 p.m. The parade route is along 2nd Avenue, concluding in the post office parking lot. Free food and entertainment.
