• Skippack MOMS Club is hosting a Fall Fest Monday, Oct. 24, at 10 a.m. in Palmer Park
• , known for his paintings from the viewpoint of a car passenger, will speak at Ursinus College on Oct. 24 at 7:30 p.m., in Musser Auditorium of Pfahler Hall. McGrath's canvases focus on surrounding landscapes, in an impressionistic style, based on photo collages using pictures of his own journeys.

• Collegeville Rotary Halloween Parade on Wednesday, Oct. 26. The parade starts at 6:30 p.m. and judging starts at 6 behind Schrader's Aamco
• Schwenksville’s Halloween Parade is Thursday, Oct. 27 from 7 to 9 p.m. The parade route is along 2nd Avenue, concluding in the post office parking lot. Free food and entertainment.
• The Perkiomen Township Fire Co. is holding its third annual comedy show Saturday, Nov. 5. Tickets are $25 each; doors open at 7 p.m. and the show starts at 8:30. Music and dancing after the show. For more tickets or more information, call 610-489-7707 or e-mail comedy66@live.com.
