Lower Frederick and Perkiomen townships’ boards of supervisors and Trappe Borough Council are holding monthly meeting at their respective halls at 7 p.m.

• The Perkiomen Township Fire Co. is holding its third annual comedy show Saturday, Nov. 5. Tickets are $25 each; doors open at 7 p.m. and the show starts at 8:30. Music and dancing after the show. For more tickets or more information, call 610-489-7707 or e-mail comedy66@live.com.

• Trappe Beef and Beer Barn Dance on Nov. 12, benefiting Trappe Today and Tomorrow Committee and the Trappe Volunteer Fire Company.
