Perkiomen Valley High School Presents 'The Pajama Game'

The curtain rises for Perkiomen Valley High School’s production of this Tony-award winning Broadway musical on Friday, April 1, at 7:30 p.m. with additional performances on Saturday, April 2, at 7:30 p.m. and a matinee on Sunday, April 3, at 2 p.m.  Audiences won’t want to miss this romantic comedy based on the story, “7 ½ cents” by Richard Bissell.  As the dangers of workplace romance are explored to hysterical effect, patrons will enjoy featured classic song and dance numbers such as “Hey There, Hernando’s Hideaway,” and “There Once Was a Man.”  Don’t miss the excitement, originally directed by George Abbott and Jerome Robbins that launched the careers of Shirley Maclaine and featured the choreography of Bob Fosse by purchasing your tickets at www.pvmb.org. All performances are at the Spahr Auditorium, Perkiomen Valley Middle School East, 100 Kagey Road, Collegeville. Tickets are $8, and seating is reserved. Advance ticket purchase is advised; however, tickets will be available at the door.
