The Man Behind The Camera At Perkiomen Fire Co. Scenes Given Plaque

Ted Hodgins, a volunteer with the Perkiomen Township Fire Co., is the man behind the camera who captures many fire scenes. He got a plaque.

PERKIOMEN TOWNSHIP, PA — A local volunteer fire department has honored one of its own.

During its December meeting, the Perkiomen Township Fire Company presented a display shield to member Ted Hodgins, who, since 2019, has been responsible for capturing photos and video of firefighters during active fire incidents, trainings and events.

Hodgins also maintains the fire company's website and social media sites.

He often handles public relations at the department as well and has been the fire company member who typically reaches out to local news organizations like Patch when reportable fire incidents occur in the Perkiomen Valley.
