The Evergreen Elementary community got a dose of the holiday spirit as they shopped for gifts from local vendors, enjoyed sweet treats and played games Friday, Dec. 2.

The Evergreen chorus also serenaded the guests with several holiday songs. The fifth grade chorus is a Division I semi-finalist in the B101 Choir Competition; this week begins the voting to move to the finals competition. Different choirs will be announced on the morning show at 7:15, and votes will be taken until 9 p.m. that day. Winners will be announced the following day.
