Police: Schwenksville Man Suffers Head Wound in Assault

Pennsylvania State Police released the following information. A report does not indicate a conviction; all accused are innocent until proven guilty.

A Schwenksville teen was treated for a two-inch cut on his head after he was struck by a “football-sized rock” during an altercation with another Schwenksville man in the borough on Monday afternoon, Pennsylvania State Police said.
According to a police report, the two men became engaged in an argument in the 100 block of Park Avenue on Nov. 28 when the 18-year-old man was struck with the rock.

Thousands of Dollars’ Worth of Jewelry Reported Stolen
Three wedding rings were reportedly taken from the 260 block of Bridge Street, Perkiomen Township, sometime between Nov. 17 and 25, according to a Pennsylvania State Police report. The rings’ total estimated cost is $7,000, police said.
An investigation is pending.

Silverware Items Reported Stolen
An unknown person (or people) took several pieces of sterling silver items form a Perkiomen Township home sometime throughout the last seven months, according to a Pennsylvania State Police report.
Police said the missing items from the Musket Circle residence are the following: three dinner forks, four salad spoons, five soup spoons, four teaspoons, one steak knife and one serving spoon.

Multiple Thefts Reported in and around Fox Heath
Numerous cars in the Fox Heath Development, including Equestrian Lane and the 600 block of Bridge Street, Perkiomen, between 2 and 4 a.m. Monday, Nov. 28, were entered and rummaged and/or had items -- such as money and iPods – taken.
The investigation is ongoing.

Police: Collegeville Man to Face DUI-, Drug Possession-Related Charges
Mario Lanza, 19, of Collegeville allegedly “exhibited signs of being under the influence of alcohol” after police reportedly observed him committing traffic violations shortly before 3 a.m., Nov. 26, in Skippack Township.
Lanza was subsequently placed under arrest, and a search in connection with the arrest yielded suspected marijuana, according to the Pennsylvania State Police report.
Charges will be filed in District Court 38-1-24, police said.

Information Sought in Vandalism Incident
According to Pennsylvania State Police, an unknown person (or people) spray-painted several pictures on the Valley Electric Wholesale building the 500 block of Main Street, Schwenksville.
