The Pennsylvania State Police are currently seeking witnesses to a pair of unrelated hit-and-run incidents in Upper Hanover Township and Perkiomen Township on August 6 and August 7.

The Pennsylvania State Police are currently seeking witnesses to a pair of unrelated hit-and-run incidents in Upper Hanover Township and Perkiomen Township on August 6 and August 7.
According to the police report, the first hit-and-run occurred at approximately 12:01 a.m. on August 6 at the intersection of Wartman Road and Bridge Street in Perkiomen Township. The victim -- a 51-year=old female from Collegeville -- stated that she heard a loud noise outside her home, before the found that her fence in the front yard had been damaged by a vehicle that fled the scene. The vehicle also struck a nearby speed limit sign.
The report states that the victim identified the vehicle as a 1999-2005 Volkswagon Jetta, though no additional information has been made available. The suspected vehicle will have damage to the front passenger-side bumper and headlight area. It was last seen making a left turn on Wartman Road from Bridge Street, according to the report.

According to the police report, a second hit-and-run occurred in the overnight hours of August 6 and August 7 along Church Road in Upper Hanover.
The report states that the striking vehicle was traveling eastbound on Church Road when the driver apparently lost control and left the roadway. The vehicle then struck multiple mailboxes along the roadway before fleeing the scene in an unknown direction. Debris from the striking vehicle was left at the scene, and it can be attributed to a blue Nissan Rogue, the report states.
