Pottstown Man Admits to Perkiomen Burglary
Man faces 10 to 20 years in prison for December 2011 burglary on Salem Road.
A Pottstown man faces 10 to 20 years in state prison after admitting to a Christmastime burglary in Perkiomen Township last year, according to the Mercury.
Demiterius Antione Upchurch, 23, pleaded guilty to a felony burglary charge relating to the Dec. 19 incident last year on Salem Road, in which two Apple iPods, watches, diamond rings and jewelry were stolen.

According to the article, police identified Upchurch after his fingerprints were found at the scene.
Judge Garrett D. Page deferred sentencing so that a complete investigative report can be completed on Upchurch.

According to court papers, charges of theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property and criminal trespass are likely to be dismissed at the time of sentencing.
