Saturday Morning Crash On 113 Sends Four To Hospital

The crash resulted in an extended extrication operation to rescue three trapped females.

A three-car accident along Route 113 sent four people to the hospital on Saturday morning, after two of the vehicles were forced into a head-on collision by the third.

According to the Pennsylvania State Police, a 2009 Toyota Camry, driven by 32-year-old Michael Knoke, of Collegeville, was traveling northbound on Route 113 when it came to a stop at the intersection of Bridge Road and Iron Bridge Drive in Perkiomen Township. Upon coming to a complete stop, the Toyota was rear-ended by a 1997 Mitsubishi Galant, which was driven by 23-year-old Michael Donovan, of Pottstown.

The force of the impact pushed the Toyota into the southbound lane of Bridge Road, where the Toyota struck an on-coming Hyundai Tuscon driven by 65-year-old Margaret Natalini, of Collegeville. The resulting head-on collision caused the Hyundai to flip onto its passenger side, injuring the driver and her two female passengers.
