Student Scientists Show Their Stuff at South Elementary School

Family and friends checked out the projects during open house night.

Perkiomen Valley students and their family and friends flocked to the school Friday night to check out their projects during the open house for the seventh annual science fair.

Participation was voluntary, and about 82 students submitted projects, working either as a team or solo projects. Science fair co-chairs Heather Bernardin, Stacey Stong and Debbi Smith were stationed in the school lobby, and greeting the open house visitors and giving each student a certificate of accomplishment and a goodie bag. The bags contained a skeleton-printed apron, a pipette and a Slinky.
