Mother, two children were struck in roadway.

Pennsylvania State Police are continuing to investigate a Wednesday morning vehicle crash in which three pedestrians—a Collegeville mother and her two children—suffered minor injuries.

According to a police report, around 8 a.m. the Collegeville woman, 40, and her 10-year-old son and 9-year-old daughter had started to cross Gravel Pike/Route 29 from Bridge Street in Perkiomen Township when they were struck by a green 1997 Honda Civic, driven by Collegeville resident Catherine Anne Caroselli, 20.  The pedestrians were reportedly not in a designated crosswalk, police said.

The family had their injuries treated at Reading Hospital and have been released, the police report states.
