Your Complete Guide To Phoenixville's Blobfest
The infamous Blobfest is this weekend in Phoenixville. All the information you need to know is here.

The Phoenixville Blobfest, commemorating the classic 1958 movie ”The Blob” that was filmed at the Colonial Theatre and throughout Phoenixville, is scheduled for this upcoming weekend.
Events will kick off on Friday night with the notorious “Run Out” event at the Colonial Theatre.
The series of stage shows, guest performances, live music, and special guests will filmed and is already sold out.

Saturday’s main event is the Streetfair, a free day of live music, special guests Ricou Browning, The Patient Creatures, Ghoul A Go-Go, Mr. Lobo, and Dixie Dellamorto and more. A costume contest a 1 p.m., a Merchant Facade Contest, food, and vendors will ’continue all day until 6 p.m.
Inside the theatre, guests will have the opportunity to meet Kris Yeaworth, the son of “The Blob” director Shorty Yeaworth, get autographs, and tour the theatre.

Saturday films will include a double feature showing of “The Blob” and quickly followed by “The Creature from the Black Lagoon.”
Tickets are $!0 for adults, $8 for seniors and students, and $6 for children 13 and under.
There will be two features, with one beginning at noon and the next beginning at 3:45 p.m.
Doors will open about 30 minutes before showtime.
Festivities will continue with another double feature at 8 p.m. of “The Blob” followed by “Abbot and Costello Meet Frankenstein.”
Parking on Saturday will be available at Holy Ghost Church at the corner of Starr and Bridge Streets from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m. They are asking for a $5 donation.
On Sunday, beginning at 1:30 p.m., famed director, writer, and stuntman Ricou Browning will answer questions from the audience at the Theatre.
The Q&A will be followed by another double-feature of “The Blob” and “The Ghastly Love of Johnny X,” a 2013 film.
The Director of “Ghastly Love” will be on hand for a Q&A of his own after the films at 5:15.
Ticket prices are the same for each event.
