Central Blood Bank Holds Community Blood Drive in Peters

The is sponsoring a community blood drive on Wednesday, Aug. 24 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the library's meeting room on the first floor. 

All registered donors will receive a $10 gas card, which will be mailed after the blood drive.

To prepare: 

• Eat a healthy meal and drink plenty of water
• Get a good night's rest
• Bring your driver's license to your appointment 

The Central Blood Bank provides lifesaving blood and blood products to 40 local hospitals, including Canonsburg General and The Washington Hospital. To meet the needs of the regions patients, 725 registered donors are needed every 24 hours.
