Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank, Downtown

Each year, Peoples Gas Holiday Market transforms Downtown Pittsburgh into a winter wonderland, featuring dozens of vendors and unique activities. Once again, the Food Bank is collecting donations outside Santa's House in the Heinz Hall Courtyard and in the Holiday Market event space. The food bank is seeking volunteers to get a photo taken with Santa for a suggested donation.
Looking for kitchen helpers for panning food, filing ovens and warmer. Also looking for people to pray with mission guests and help in the donation center.
Help deliver Christmas gifts to families who have limited transportation within Allegheny County. Catholic Charities provides over 2,000 gifts to families in its services region.
Criminal and Child Abuse clearances are required in order to deliver gifts. They can be obtained at no cost and are good for five years.
