Emmy Award-Winning Make-Up Artist Visits Peters

TV and movie make-up artist Marianne Skiba stopped by Saturday to present a seminar: Healthy High Summer Beauty. 

During her many years in the entertainment industry, Skiba recognized the need for safer, non-toxic cosmetics and healthier lifestyle choices, so she studied Holistic Health Counseling at Columbia University and integrative nutrition at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in New York, according to a release.

She currently runs Glam Earth Natural & Organic Beauty Boutique in Washington, PA—located in The Shoppes at Quail Acres.

Skiba has worked with the likes of Billy Crystal, Maury Povich, Neil Patrick Harris, Kelly Ripa, Rosie O'Donnell, Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera and Sam Waterston.
