Peters Brewpub To Open 2nd Location

PITTSBURGH, PA — A successful Peters Township brewery is expanding into Pittsburgh. Mondays Brewing Company plans to open next month in Greenfield.

Mondays made the announcement on, appropriately enough, Monday.

"Monday's brewing is excited to announce that we are coming to Greenfield," a post on the brewery's Facebook page stated. "You will soon find our beer in the city as well as the South Hills. More details will be coming."

Mondays will occupy the space formerly occupied by Hough's on Greenfield Avenue, which in its heyday was one of the city's most popular brewpubs. Hough's closed in May 2023 following a 13-year run.

The owner and head brewer at Mondays is Sam Fee, a Washington & Jefferson College professor who teaches in the Department of Computing and Information Studies.

Mondays initially opened in 2020.
