The newspaper stated that the materials provided in class come from Teen Outreach at Washington Hospital. Each parent must sign a permission slip for the student to take the class.

No decision about the class was made at Monday's meeting. However, acting Superintendent Joseph Dimperio said the cirriculum is going to be rewritten this summer. In addition, board President Cindy Golembiewski said parents would be asked to be part of the course process and would be notified by email.
