Peters Schedules Outdoor Concerts, Movies & Other Events

PETERS TOWNSHIP, PA - There won’t be a lack of entertainment options in Peters over the summer. The township has scheduled a series of concerts, movies and other events at the Peterswood Park Amphitheater.

Concerts

Beer and wine are permitted at the Wednesday night performances, which also will have a food truck on hand. The schedule:

• July 11, 7 p.m.: The Clintones (90s cover band); Wood Stoked Oven food truck.

• July 18, 7 p.m.: The Mansfield 5 (‘50s through ‘80s dance); Oh My Grill food truck.

• July 25, 7 p.m.: The Lava Game (party rock); Fitzburgh food truck.

• Aug. 1, 6 p.m.: Scott, Rob & Greg of The Clarks (rock), Rhythm Section Blues Band; Fantastic Food Truck.

• Aug. 8, 7 p.m. Township Road (country); food truck to be announced.

• Aug. 15, 6:30 p.m.: New Vintage Big Band; eKernally Yours Gourmet Popcorn food truck.

• Aug. 22, 7 p.m.: Tusk (Fleetwood Mac tribute band); BRGR food truck.

• Aug. 29, 6 p.m.: Right Turnclyde (acoustic) Fraktuary food truck.

Friday Night Flicks

• July 20: "Jumani: Welcome to the Jungle"
• Aug. 24: "Coco"
• Oct. 12: "Hocus Pocus"

All movies begin at dusk. Those attending are encourage to bring a chair or blanket to make the viewing experience more enjoyable.

• June 30, Community Day: Ventriloquist Chris Donahoe, noon; Hamiltunes Community Sing, 1:45 p.m.

• July 6, 7 p.m.: Do Wop A Do: An Oldies Review (Abbey Players Youth Theater).

• Sept. 9, 2 p.m. Cinderella (Abbey Players Youth Theater).
