Police News: Stolen Steel Bench, Stolen Checks, Vandalism and a Hit-and-Run

All information was provided by the Peters Township Police Department.

July 11, 2:10 p.m.: A steel, decorative bench, located at the 100 block of Golden Eagle Drive (corner of resident's property), was reported stolen to . The five-foot long bench weighs 80-90 pounds and is black in color. Its estimated worth is $3,000. 

July 12, 10:04 a.m.: Sometime after closed at 8 p.m. on the 11th, a business vehicle's four tires were slashed. Police are investigating. 

July 13, 12:04 p.m.: Company checks were reported stolen to police at a doctor's office located at 4198 Washington Road. An office manager told police an employee is believed to have stolen $25,000 in cash since June 9. Police are investigating.

July 14, 2:30 a.m.: A hit-and-run is being investigated after a car crashed into a telephone pole at the 200 block of Thomas Road. 

July 14, 9:35 p.m.: Four male juveniles were caught on video surveillance damaging lighting rods on the roof of . This is the the lighting rods were damaged—this time 15 rods were broken, an estimated in $3,000 in damage.
