Royal Wedding: Pamper & Party Overnight with Royal Products
Canonsburg Chamber president hosts an overnight viewing party with ultimate relaxation and a wedding cake!

Karen Kovac, president of the Greater Canonsburg Chamber of Commerce, has an eye for marketing techniques and a desire to watch history being made with dear friends.
As a consultant for Jafra Cosmetics since 1990, aside from her 9-5 day job, and an interest in William and Kate, she recognized fate with one word: royal. Royal Jelly, cremes and lotions are a few of Jafra's biggest sellers. Kovac saw reason to unite friends and host a party.Â
"Other popular items are our Royal Almond lotions and scrubs. They're wonderful products," she said. "I knew we had to tie this all together. It was my marketing degree coming out I guess."Â

Kovac purchased a wedding cake for the overnight party, in addition to snacks and wine for the  4 a.m. wedding watch.
Local business owners and employees will be present, such as a massage therapist from Salon Eleven and Nancy Griffith, owner of Skinny Jeans Forever. Specials and raffles will be offered.Â
Kovac travels for a living, which she noted was one reason the hotel idea worked out perfectly. She anticipates 33 party attendees.
"It's history," she said. "It's because of Royal Jelly from Jafra—it's a play on marketing, plus it's fun!"Â
As for royal attire? Kovac will be donning a vintage tiara from .
