Severe Thunderstorms Approach Washington County
The National Weather Service says there's an 80 percent chance for showers and thunderstorms.

Be sure to take your umbrella with you on your lunch break if you're stepping out. Severe thunderstorms are possible anytime after noon, according to meteorologist Lee Hendricks, of the National Weather Service Pittsburgh.
Widespread and severe thunderstorms are expected from noon throughout the evening and after midnight, Hendricks said.
"The storms are just to the west of us as we speak," he said.
