Walk-Off Grand Slam Sends Peters to Quarterfinals
The next WPIAL playoff game for the Indians is Monday.
After having a rough time at the mound, Peters Township pitcher Carly Kolopka hit a game-ending grand slam Tuesday to lift her team to an 8-4 victory against Pine-Richalnd High School in the first round of the WPIAL Class AAA softball playoffs, according to the Tribune Review.
The win send the No. 7 seed to the quarterfinals for the fourth year in a row, according to the Post-Gazette.
The game will be played against Latrobe on Monday, May 20, at a time and place still to be determined.
