Breweries are continuing to grow in Chester County.

CHESTER COUNTY, PA —If you’re looking for a night out, craft breweries are abundant in Chester County and beyond.

Here are some popular breweries in Chester County:

  • Steel City Brewery, 203 Bridge St., Phoenixville, features handcrafted artisan brews, and seasonal selection on draft and can. Open seven days a week. 484-924-8425.
  • Succession Fermentory, 432 Leaman Road, Cochranville: A farmhouse brewery on the property of StellaLou Farm, specializing in fermented beer and sour ales. 814-229-3928
  • Iron Hill Brewery, 130 Bridge St.. Phoenixville, featuring Firebird Pils, Iron Hill Lager, Kings Gold, Hipster IPA, Apple Cider Donut Pastry Pale Ale.
  • Serum Kitchen & Taphouse, 142 East Market St., plans to open soon with outdoor seating and local beer.
  • Tired Hands Beer Park, 201 E. State St., Kennett Square, 12 to 10 p.m.Friday and Saturday, 12 to 8 p.m. Sunday, featuring pumpkin pie milkshake beer, DDH Oblivez. Severe Head Ooze, TDH Plunge, and Trendler Oktoberfest.

  • Twelve78 Brewery, 35 Bridge St., Phoenixville A family-owned and operated crew is opening in March in downtown Phoenixville. The taproom will be a warm environment where friends and families can relax. The brewery will feature IPA’s sour ale, sour smoothies, Lagers Pale Ales and more.
  • Steel City Brewery, 132 Lincoln Highway, Coatesville, set to open this spring in the former Coatesville YMCA Building on Lincoln Highway, Philip Ferro is opening a brewpub that will feature a beer hall and traditional restaurant.
