Colonial Theatre To Host 'Immersive Speakeasy' Experience
The newest Phoenixville event aims to recapture the "glitz and glamor" of New York City in the 1970s.
PHOENIXVILLE, PA — Colonial Theatre is expanding its offerings this spring.
The local music and film destination will host a special "immersive speakeasy experience" which aims to recapture the glitz and glamor of New York City in the 1970s.
The event called "Hush" will be held on Friday, March 22 at 8 p.m.

"Travel to the roaring twenties as the White Rabbit Theatre is transformed into a speakeasy called Hush, complete with the musical stylings of Parlour Noir and signature hooch (cocktails). Swanky, period attire and dancing shoes are encouraged."
In addition, the theatre is also hosting a disco event called Colonial 54.

"Grab your shiny outfits and pumps to dance the night away with DJ Moshé, The Spin Therapist, and celebrities such as Liza Minelli, Andy Warhol, and Mayor Peter," organizers said. "The space will be hot, and the building capacity can only go so far, so grab a ticket and we’ll see you at Colonial 54."
The event will begin in the Bank lobby on Friday, April 26 at 9 p.m.
