Cousin's faced some issues under previous management, including briefly closing in February due to health violations. This recent closure was unrelated.
"No, we weren't deported," owner Shahezad Contractor said. "No ICE raids, no health department drama...there has been a lot of speculation as to why we were closed for a week. We had to put new management in place. The previous health department issues and other ongoing behind the scenes were not up to our standards, so we had to pause and reset."
