Fireworks aficionados in the Phoenixville area can see fireworks July 7 and on the traditional July 4th in surrounding municipalities.

PHOENIXVILLE, PA —Phoenixville fireworks postponed.

Due to a rainy forecast, the fireworks were rescheduled for Friday, July 7, at Friendship Field, Fillmore Street and Franklin Avenue.

Fireworks are set to begin at 9:15 p.m.

Mayor Peter J. Urscheler explained Phoenixville, a local dining destination, has fireworks this year after the July 4 national celebration of the birth of our nation.

The mayor said the reason fireworks are not scheduled on July 4 is based on a few factors.

“Firstly, our choice of date aligns with the availability and schedule of our trusted fireworks company, ensuring a high-quality and spectacular display for our community,” the mayor said.
“Additionally, we have a tradition of hosting the fireworks over the weekend, allowing our residents the opportunity to attend other nearby 4th of July celebrations and experience the festive spirit throughout the region.”

The mayor said everyone is welcome to watch fireworks in Phoenixville July 7.

“By offering our fireworks on a different day, we extend a warm welcome to visitors who may choose to join us and enjoy our unique celebration,” the mayor said. “We are thrilled to provide a memorable experience for all and celebrate the spirit of independence together."

  • What: Tredyffrin Township 4th of July Celebration. Chester County Concert Band will entertain before the fireworks begin. Food trucks will be available.
