First Friday, Phoenixville Blues Festival This Weekend: What To Know

PHOENIXVILLE, PA — A busy weekend is ahead in Phoenixville as the borough prepares to celebrate the beginning of the end of the summer sidewalk and street festival season.

Friday, Sept. 6 is First Friday, and Phoenixville Inside Out has some special celebrations planned.

The 100 and 200 blocks of Bridge Street will be shut down from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

There will be live music from local artists, unique crafts and vendors and arts displays, outdoor seating for bars and restaurants, and much more.

Live music will feature Tequila Mockingbird on the main stage and Dear Friend in the Children's Plaza.

Then the Phoenixville Blues Festival will take over town on Saturday.

The event will take place from noon to 10 p.m. at Reeves Park. Organizers are expecting even more of a turnout than last year's estimated 4,000 fans.

The event does remain free, though donations are accepted and all proceeds from the event support Crescendo Phoenixville, Paint the Town Pink, Orion Communities, Healthcare Access, PACS, Phoenixville Library, and The Clinic. Donations are accepted via PayPal.
