Folk Singer Song Writers Coming To Colonial Theatre, Phoenixville
Tom Rush and Louden Wainwright are performing at 8 p.m. Thursday, March 16 at the Colonial Theater.

PHOENIXVILLE, PA —Tom Rush and Louden Wainwright III bring folk and rock music back to the stage at 8 p.m. Thursday, March 16, at the Colonial Theatre, 227 Bridge St.
Rush helped shape the folk revival in the ’60s and the renaissance of the genre in the ’80s and ’90s; his music left its stamp on generations of artists.
He began his music career performing in Boston-area clubs while attending Harvard and has spent a great deal of his career performing in New England on a regular basis.
Rush performs with singer/songwriter Matt Nakoa.

Loudon Wainwright III produced 26 studio albums, including "The Man Who Couldn't Cry", "Dead Skunk", and "Lullaby". In 2007.
Wainwright also appeared in films, including small parts in “The Aviator,” “The 40-Year-Old Virgin” and the television series, “Parks and Recreation.”
