Hares Hill Road To Be Shut Down By Phoenixville School District

It's part of the construction of the new elementary school.

PHOENIXVILLE, PA — The Phoenixville Area School District will shut down a road for about a month as work on improvements gets underway.

Hares Hill Road in East Pikeland will be shut down from Tuesday, Oct. 15 through Friday, Nov. 15.

The work is part of the construction of the Hares Hill Elementary School, and will include road reconstruction, a new traffic signal at the Ridge Road intersection, and more.

The closure will be 24 hours a day and will run from Route 23 to Route 724.

Traffic will occur in the area and drivers are advised to plan for delays.
