Main Street To Shut Down In Phoenixville This Week
The closure will extend into Schuylkill Township.

PHOENIXVILLE, PA — A portion of Route 29 will be shut down in Phoenixville and Schuylkill Township this week.
PennDOT crews will shut down the road, which runs as Main Street in Phoenixville, from Anderson Avenue to Russell Road.
The closure will be in place from Wednesday, May 29 at 6 p.m. to Thursday, May 30 at 2 a.m.

Drivers will be detoured to Route 23, Whitehorse Road, and Pothouse Road.
Delays will occur and residents should plan on longer travel times during the closure.
