Manhunt Continues After Phoenixville Hospital Escape: Cops
Authorities said the fugitive should be considered dangerous.

PHOENIXVILLE, PA — The manhunt continues Wednesday for a DUI suspect who police said escaped from custody at Phoenixville Hospital last weekend.
The incident occurred at around 6:59 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 25.
Jairo Eliazar Ramirez-Lima fled on foot from the hospital grounds while still in handcuffs, police said.

Ramirez-Lima has a history of violence and weapons offenses and is wanted on multiple active arrest warrants in addition to the DUI charge, authorities said.
He should be considered dangerous and area residents should avoid contact.

Authorities are asking for the public's help. If he is seen or if anyone has information, call 911 immediately or contact the East Pikeland Township Police Department at 610-935-0606.
