Marching Bands Compete Saturday, Oct. 28 at Phoenixville High School
Ten bands from area high schools with compete Saturday at the Phoenixville High School.

PHOENIXVILLE — The Phoenixville Area High School Marching Phantoms will host the "Phantom Phestival of Bands," a marching band field show, and a competition at 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 28 at the Phoenixville High School, 1200 Gay St.
Ten high school marching bands will perform. Other schools competing include Conrad Weiser High School, Daniel Boone High School, Haddon Heights High School, Kennett High School, Plymouth Whitemarsh High School, Pottsgrove High School, St. Marks High School, Upper Merion High School, and West Chester East High School.
The Marching Phantoms will perform last at 8:30 p.m. and present a show called, “Adventure is Out There.” The show features music from AJR, Rusted Root, Phil Collins, and Coldplay.

The event is sponsored by the Phantom Music Boosters and students compete within the Cavalcade of Bands organization.
The event is open to the public. Gates open at 5:30 p.m. Tickets are available at the door and cost $15 for adults, $10 for students/seniors, and free for children under 5 attending with an adult.
