The Old Crow Medicine show have been building up quite a reputation since they started out back in 1998 - They co-wrote one of their biggest hits with Bob Dylan; performed with bluesman Keb' Mo'; and along the way, built a strong following of fans and music critics alike.

So we were thrilled to hear the guys decided to wrap up 2025 with a collection of holiday songs called OCMS XMAS. The record features 11 original holiday songs along with a couple of covers all while keeping their signature roots sound and adding new soon-to-be Christmas classics to the mix with the tunes "December 26," "North by Norheast" and "All About A Baby." They are earning praise for its mix of classic Americana, humor, and fresh holiday spirit, supported by their Holiday Hootenanny tour. Reviews highlight the blend of traditional and new, with special mention of their cover of "Happy Xmas (War Is Over)" featuring the voices of some children from the Episcopal School of Nashville in the chorus. While they stay true to their American roots, with a string-band stomp, they also stretch their legs a bit to incorporate Zydeco in "All About A Baby," as well as some country-blues with "Jolly Man." Also included in here is a cover of "Holly Jolly Christmas" with the Tennessee State University's Brassville ensemble, and their hilarious 'local' song "Bethlehem, PA" that just might call for repeated plays stereos around here for years and years to come - It's one of my favorite tracks on the record along with the nostalgic "Store Bought Christmas"!

Think of this as a unique addition to your holiday music landscape, bringing an old-timey sound, humor and hillbilly twang to your traditions.
