Phoenixville Area District Is On A 2-Hour Delay Wednesday, Jan. 17
Due to predicted icy road conditions, the schools will start two hours later than normal, officials said.

PHOENIXVILLE, PA —Phoenixville Area School District is on a two-hour delay Wednesday, Jan. 17 due to icy road conditions throughout Chester County.
Phoenixville High School students will follow a modified mid-term exam school.
Exams are scheduled from 10:05 to 11:35 a.m. for period three.

Exams are scheduled from 11:50 a.m. to 1:20 p.m. for period four.
The middle school students and K-5 grades will also arrive two hours later than normal time.

The district will follow one consistent bell schedule for all K-12 students with the school day beginning with synchronous online instruction at 9 a.m.
Buses will arrive two hours later to pick up students.
The high temperature for Wednesday is forecasted at 24 degrees, with the low at 17 degrees and wind gusts up to 10 mph, according to the National Weather Service.
The sun is expected to be shining, but the wind chill value is as low as -1 degrees.
On Thursday, the weather is expected to be cloudy and cold, with a chance of snow starting early Friday morning.
