Democrats Sweep Phoenixville Borough Council Races
Polls are closed and results are beginning to trickle in for local races around the Phoenixville area.

PHOENIXVILLE, PA — Both contested races in Phoenixville on Election Day were won by Democrats, according to unofficial results.
Democrat Koretta McGhee won huge over Republican David Wilmore, 762 to 301. And Democat Dana Dugan defeated Socialism and Liberation candidate John Parker Studebaker by a tally of 784 to 216.

Two borough council races feature a single candidate running unopposed, while two seats are being contested.
North Ward
Democrat Koretta McGhee is facing off against Republican David F. Wilmore.
West Ward
Democrat Dana Dugan is battling Socialism and Liberation candidate John Parker Studebaker.
Middle Ward
Beth Burkley, a Democrat, is running unopposed.
East Ward
Democrat Tanya Vogel is running unopposed.
