Phoenixville Police Officer Chase Rondeau Is Sworn In Tuesday Night
Mayor Peter Urscheler swore in a new officer police officer at the beginning of the borough council meeting.
PHOENIXVILLE, PA—Phoenixville Mayor Peter Urscheler swore in a new officer police officer, Chase Rondeau, at Tuesday night's borough council meeting.
The mayor said Rondeau did exceptionally well throughout our rigorous hiring process.
Born in Lansdale, Rondeau was raised in Worcester Township. He graduated from LaSalle College High School in 2019 and from Ursinus College in May with a bachelor of arts degree in media and communications. He was the captain of the Ursinus lacrosse team in his junior and senior years.

After graduation, Rondeau enrolled in the police academy at Montgomery County Community College and he completed his training requirements on Monday, Nov. 11.
Rondeau was joined by his parents, grandmother, brother, and numerous family and friends for the swearing-in ceremony. His longtime girlfriend, Jenna, held the Bible for him and pinned on his police badge.

Chase has been assigned to the Third Platoon and will begin his field training program next Monday night.
