Phoenixville's Colonial Theatre Raising Funds For Critical Restoration
The theatre needs to renovate and restore its historic 1903 Theatre, one of the only of its kind in the United States.

PHOENIXVILLE, PA — Phoenixville's Colonial Theatre is raising needed funds in support of its historic 1903 Theatre, which needs to be fully restored.
The 1903 Theatre is located in the original, older wing of the Colonial, and seats 658. It's one of the only theatres in the United States that is able to produce both 35mm and 2K digital projection.
The massive, amphitheater experience for moviegoers is similarly rare.

"The vital work will ensure the 1903 Theatre can continue to be a venue to host concerts, movie screenings, and a variety of other entertainment events for years to come," the Theatre shared in a statement.
A fundraising concert for the renovation project will be held at Colonial on Saturday, Feb. 15 at 8 p.m. The event, "Floydian Trip: Brick by Brick to Benefit the 1903 Theatre," will feature live music from the Pink Floyd tribute band.
