PHOENIXVILLE, PA — A multi-media 1960s musical is returning to the Colonial Theatre in downtown Phoenixville at 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 20.
"The Sixties Show" is a live concert show featuring musical hits of the 1960s, including the Beatles, the Rolling Stones, the Doors, Glen Campbell, the Who, the Kinks, the Animals, and more.
“It’s a show about the '60s,” Craig O’Keefe, musical director and producer, said in an interview with Patch on Tuesday. “There are a lot of people who love the music from the 60s. It’s timeless. It's a stand-alone theater show about time traveling."

This isn’t the first time the show was performed in Phoenixville. The show was performed in October 2021 after the pandemic was winding down.
One of the performers, Jim Boggia, who is based in Philadelphia, said he was excited to bring the show to Phoenixville.
OKeefe said he has fond memories of the downtown Phoenixville theater and restaurant scene and looks forward to returning on Friday.
O’Keefe said the show is refreshed every year with new songs, noting there were over a million songs released in the 1960s, including British, folk, rock, Motown, and more.
The band uses 1960s vintage and reissued vintage gear and instruments. The music is performed live with no pre-recorded music.
The cast members have recorded with Paul McCartney, the Kinks, the Beach Boys, the Who, and more.
The musicians also include Tom Licameli, guitarist, producer, and vocalist; Scott /Devours, drummer, Kevin Bents, Vocalist; and Peter Chiusano, keyboard and orchestrator.
