Spring-Ford District Will Open 2 Hours Late Wednesday, Jan. 17: Update

SPRING-FORD, PA —The Spring-Ford Area School District is starting two hours later than normal time on Wednesday, Jan. 17.

• Morning kindergarten will run from 11 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.
• Afternoon kindergarten will run from 1:55 a.m. to 3:40 p.m.
• Grades one to six will start at 11 a.m.
• Grades seven and eight will start at 10:05 a.m.
• Grades 9 to 12 will start at 9:40 a.m.

Students who ride the bus to school are asked to report to the bus stop two hours later than normal time.

The high temperature for Wednesday is forecasted at 24 degrees, with the low at 17 degrees and wind gusts up to 10 mph, according to the National Weather Service.

The sun is expected to be shining, but the wind chill value is as low as -1 degrees.
