Summer is winding down; But the outdoor concert scene is heating up!
Only a few weeks and a few shows left in this year's summer season for outdoor concerts - But opportunities for some great shows remain!
Almost time to get back to reality as our outdoor concerts wind down at the end of summer... But don't fret - There are still some GREAT shows planned to ease you into that back-to-work or back-to-school mode!
Tonight is a GREAT example with a FREE show out in Eagleview with an incredible band - The Tisburys! If you don't know these guys yet, you really should take the time to check them out... This local Philly-based rock band has been doing it the old-fashioned way for nearly a decade now – playing hundreds of shows, showing up at hundreds more, and putting in the effort to grow their scene and help make Philly music better.
Going back to their early pre-pandemic EPs, each release in their discography has gotten a little better, a little sharper, and a little bigger. And with their 4th album, A Still Life Revisited, The Tisburys moved up a league, with lead singer Tyler Asay and the band penning their best batch of songs yet. Produced at Headroom Studios and Dr. Dog’s Mt. Slippery with their longtime engineer/producer Justin Nazario, it shows a band still rooted in their love of ‘90s radio rock and classic power pop sounds from The Replacements to The Gin Blossoms, Petty to Wilco. However, they are also breaking out of those big shadows and forging their own path. Songs like “The Anniversaries” and “Forever” are perfect examples, both having been played extensively on XPN in recent months.

Opening for The Tiburys tonight at 7:00 pm will be the former frontman of The Caulfields, John Faye also with a full band - Should be an amazing night of music out there at Eagleview in Lionville... More info on the show can be found at: https://www.eagleviewtowncente...
The fun continues out in King of Prussia on Wednesday as Andy Frasco & The U.N. comes to Concerts Under the Stars... Frasco has been described a cross between John Belushi’s “Joliet” Jake Blues and Jimmy Buffett—but sounds like himself: a band-leading, genre-blending, songwriting party animal. Onstage, he turns into a rock 'n' roll Tasmanian Devil, channeling Springsteen-style energy as he leads his band, through instrument swaps, stage dives, and spontaneous crowd moments.
