Traffic Signals Return To Normal In Schuylkill Township Area
Signals were flashing steadily for hours at key intersections in the area, including Route 23 and Pawlings Road.

SCHUYLKILL TOWNSHIP, PA — Traffic signals around the Schuykill Township and Phoenixville areas that malfunctioned early Tuesday morning have been restored, authorities said.
Signals at numerous key intersections began flashing steadily at around 5 a.m.
Schuylkill Township police warned of significant delays in the area as drivers navigated the issue.

Signal Service corrected the issue by around 8:30 a.m.
Impacted traffic signals included Route 23 and Pawlings Road (Schuylkill Township), Route 113 and Township Line Road (Schuylkill), Route 113 at the entrance to Kimberton Shoppes (by Planet Fitness in East Pikeland) and Route 23 and the Shops at Valley Forge (by Redners in East Pikeland), officials said.
