Five Things You Need to Know This Week

1. Route 910 Roadwork Begins
Look out for delays! PennDOT will begin work to replace two bridges on Wexford Road (Route 910) in Pine Township on Monday, July 22, weather permitting.
The project will remove and replace two existing bridges that carry Wexford Road over the North Fork Pine Creek and an unnamed tributary.
2. Creative Writing at Northern Tier Library
Teens ages 13 and up are invited to get their wheels turning with fun writing activities at Northern Tier Library in Richland Township.

This week’s class is 1 p.m. Monday, July 22. The theme is “Dream Association.”
3. Movies in the Park
Attend a free showing of “Jumanji” at dusk, Wednesday, July 24 at Pine Park. Refreshments will be sold at the concession stand.

An adult must accompany children age 12 and younger. In case of inclement weather, the movie will be shown the following Wednesday.
4. Donations Accepted for St. Alphonsus Sale
Clothing donations at being accepted at St. Alphonsus Parish for its used clothing sale, coming up Aug. 10. Proceeds from the event benefit the church’s annual Passion play.
Gently used clothing items may be dropped off at the front-door entrance area of the small gym. For more information, contact Mary Heagy at musicdirector@saintalphonsuswexford.org.
5. Knit Lit
Do you knit, crochet, or craft in any way? If not, would you like to learn? Bring a project and your latest read and join the Northern Tier Library at 7 p.m. Thursday, July 25 for crafting, conversation, and fun!
