It's Beginning to Look Like ... Holiday Dazzle at Pine Community Center!

Local businesses and organizations are starting to trim holiday trees in the center's hallway in anticipation of Sunday's Holiday Dazzle celebration.

White lights here. Homemade ornaments there. Pretty ribbons.

Trimming holiday trees at Pine Community Center has become part of the tradition leading up to the annual Holiday Dazzle.

Local businesses and organizations—including Patch—started decorating those trees this week, lining the grand hallway at Pine Community Center with holiday cheer.

The third annual Holiday Dazzle will be celebrated from 4 to 7 p.m. on Sunday in and around the center.

A camel and reindeer along with horse-and-carriage rides will be part of the outdoor portion of the celebration.

Santa will arrive on a fire truck and then take a seat in The Gazebo to greet boys and girls, weather permitting.

Holiday Dazzle is Pine Township's three-hour extravaganza to celebrate the holidays. The admission price is $3 if you buy your ticket in advance at the community center and $5 at the door.

Buses will run continually to shuttle people from the parking areas to the community center.

Arts and crafts will be held in the gymnasium; local entertainers will perform in the upstairs ballrooms.

Spectators also can view ice carving, participate in a hat parade, watch a holiday movie and make s'mores at a bonfire.

Lighting of the outside Dazzle Tree is also planned and festivities will end with the bang of fireworks.
