Retired PRMS Principal Scores Big in Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show
Kathy Harrington's Bearded Collie receives Best of Breed distinction.

If you watched the prestigious Westminster Kennel Dog Show televised Monday night from New York, you saw a winning Bearded Collie with a Pine-Richland connection.
GCH Dunhill Celebration—a Best of Breed winner—was bred by Pine-Richland Middle School's retired principal, Dr. Kathy Harrington; her husband Ray; and Carolyn O'Neil.
The Bearded Collie is in the herding group; GCH Dunhill Celebration did not place in the Best of Group competition.

Harrington was well known for bringing her collies to school with her, to the delight of the students. She also got the students involved in supporting Animal Friends, a no-kill shelter.
