$2M Jackpot-Winning Lottery Ticket Sold In Pittsburgh Area

PITTSBURGH, PA — A Pittsburgh-area retailer sold a winning Powerball with Power Play ticket worth $2 million over the weekend.

The ticket matched five of the five white balls drawn, 1-28-31-57-58, to win $2 million. Without the $1 Power Play option, the ticket would have been worth $1 million.

The Sheetz in Chippewa Township, Beaver County, sold the winning ticket and will receive a $10,000 for doing so.

Pennsylvania Lottery Powerball winners have one year from the drawing date to claim prizes. Winning tickets purchased at a lottery retailer should immediately be signed on the back.

More than 179,100 other PA Lottery Powerball tickets won prizes of various amounts in the drawing, including more than 35,400 tickets purchased with Power Play and more than 18,800 tickets purchased with Double Play®. Players should check every ticket, every time.
