PA's First Fresh International Market Opening Soon In Pittsburgh
An expanding international grocery chain is poised to debut in Pittsburgh.

PITTSBURGH, PA —Fresh International Market, which bills itself as an authentic Asian grocery, is preparing to open its first Pennsylvania store in Pittsburgh.
The grocery will be located on Thomas Boulevard in the mixed-use Rockwell Park development in North Point Breeze. It will be near the Pittsburgh Food Co-Op.
"We are thrilled to welcome Fresh International Market to Rockwell Park and the North Point Breeze community," Rockwell Park principal Al Lardo said. "This new store will be a fantastic addition to the city's vibrant food scene. The store's unique selection of international ingredients and prepared meals will provide greater convenience and comfort for local residents."

Added Fresh International Market founder and president Bowen Kou: "Fresh International Market is excited to join the vibrant Rockwell Park community and offer our unique range of international brands and Asian cuisine to local residents. The Pittsburgh location is listed as "coming soon" on the supermarket website but an opening date is not provided. Pittsburgh Magazine has reported the market will open on April 1.Founded in Michigan in 2011, the chain currently has eight stores in that state and Nebraska, Texas, Michigan, Indiana, North Carolina and Florida. Pittsburgh and Austin are the next cities in which the market will open.
